Camano Island is known for our local artists and art lovers! Our own artists made their vision a reality by transforming the Rotary Park and Playground at Terry’s Corner into its own FREE gallery space! Featuring abstract art around the park, residents and visitors can enjoy relaxing or gatherings with family and friends at this amazing space!
Many artists open their studios daily, others on weekends, and some by appointment only. Many combine efforts and join the Stanwood-Camano Arts Association to hold their studio or home open to tour. This tour is on Mother’s Day weekend and the weekend after. It showcases over 35 artists, with convenient A-boards to direct visitors around the Island. Visit HERE for more information!
The Great Northwest Glass Quest has gained popularity over the years. The 2020 Quest is open February 14- February 23rd where seekers can find hidden hand blown glass balls around Stanwood and Camano Island. Simply soaking in the many beautiful sights and following a helpful map, “Questers” may spot a FREE ball of their own made by local artists, Mark and Marcus Ellinger. More details available HERE.
