Essentials Drive for Homeless

While real estate is usually much slower during the holidays, it is my privilege to be able to focus my attention every winter on facilitating an event that I feel called to!

Two years ago, I organized the Sock Drive, and WOW, did we collect piles and piles of socks! It was an absolute blessing to be able to personally hand off new, warm, clean socks directly to the hands of those in need.

My kids asked, “Mom, can we give them water or snacks, even a bag with other things in it?” This has been weighing on my heart the last two years as I have brough a new child into the world. I think of the things my baby needs… clothes, food, water, cleanliness, and most importantly LOVE and have decided to put on an Essentials Drive for the Homeless to offer just those things!

I have dropped off bins at three local locations who will help us gather essential items for the homeless! Use your imagination! We can use thermal blankets, hats, socks, water, snacks (granola bars, peanut butter, etc.), sanitary napkins, sanitary wipes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, gallon bags, combs, and welcome your other ideas! I plan to compile a handful of items that fit into gallon Ziploc bags and personally hand them out through Valentine’s Day.

Let’s spread our LOVE to the homeless and BLESS their broken road…

Please drop any essential items to the following locations:
